YWCA
"In the year 2000, 356 girls and mentors connected, developed friendships, and explored new opportunities together."

Anne worked with the YWCA on their 2000 Annual Report, writing copy that emphasized the far reaching impact of the Y's many programs and services by drawing upon the stories of the women and children in our community.

exi Wireless (with SVS Design & Advertising)

"The technology of one generation, for the benefit of another."

A print advertisement for exi's people protection system, RoamAlert, emphasized the personal side of the product, rather than benefits or features. Pepper Writing wrote the headline for the ad.

BC Housing (with SVS Design & Advertising)

"Providing Options, Opening Doors."

One of BC Housing's programs is The Housing Registry, a centralized database of information about housing in the Lower Mainland. For the launch of the program, The Registry needed a new logo and slogan. Anne worked with SVS Design & Advertising to develop a concept and slogan.

Soft Tracks Enterprises
 
"45,000 hungry football fans"

Soft Tracks was developing a new site, and wanted to capture the excitement of the improvements that were being made with a "coming soon" style ad. Anne developed the concept and wrote the copy for a series of three ads.

Compaq needed a series of banner ads to advertise their rebate on the Presario product line. Anne wrote the copy, ensuring that it tied into their print advertising.

NorthVoice Communications (with V Group Design)

"I need to call long distance from my mobile phone."

Anne wrote and edited the copy for NorthVoice's advertising brochure, introducing the market to their telecommunications services. By putting the reader in different scenarios, the copy emphasized the flexibility and powerful convenience of the services.

Mark James (Ad Competition)

"Back East, I was a sidewalk chalk artist."

Mark James put out a call for "Your Most Horrible Vancouver Weather Experience." Anne won the contest with her tale of chalk drawing, and the ad appeared in Vancouver Magazine.

"Service. It's at the core of our business."

Paradata Systems connects merchants and banks together for secure payment processing solutions. They needed a sales sheet to highlight their product offering to resellers, such as ISPs. Anne wrote copy that provided the right balance of information for the audience.

The design firm Kiazma Creative develops powerful branding solutions for web, print and identity. Pepper Writing worked with the Kiazma team to edit the copy for their new brochure, helping them to craft a strong message throughout.

Esquires needed a Franchise brochure to help fuel their expansion into European markets. Pepper Writing provided copy that situated the company in the context of North American coffee culture and emphasized the opportunities in a fast-growing marketplace.

LASIK VISION (with Wregleworth Design Consultancy)
"We've already helped more than 50,000 people improve their vision and reduce their dependency on glasses."

LASIK VISION's patient brochure had to answer prospective patients many questions and help them feel confident to move forward with their procedure. The copy, provided by Pepper Writing, answered patient concerns in a reassuring and warm manner.

"What do you do when your dreadlocks are dry enough to self-ignite?"

Realm needed an article for their 'Wild Thing' section that would be just that. The result? It's Like Buttah: a story about a very unique individual and the hair product she developed.
